Pro- Loco an interesting and enjoyable event for all whether as participating artist or as a judge later in the day.

Open to artists of all ages with special encouragement for younger entrants.

Artists should sign in at Brownhill Countryside Centre between 9.30 and 10 am. and then to produce a landscape picture in a medium of their choosing, anywhere within Saddleworth. Entrants should report to the Museum at 3.30 pm. for checking and framing (framing not required for children's entries).

Judging by the public outside the Museum will commence around 4 pm. and prizes will be awarded to the winning entries.

The winner in the Adult Section will, in addition to a substantial cash prize, hold the 'Lena Brooks Trophy' for one year and the picture will be retained for permanent exhibition in Saddleworth.
