AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MINUTES

Saturday 29th May, 7.30p.m. to 12.30 a.m. Hollyville, Greenfield

Starting in Saddleworth during the Whit weekend celebrations we set off on a magical, musical meander around the world.

It took Phileas Fogg 80 days . . . we might do the journey in 80 minutes, however we may tarry awhile as we travel east and visit Northern Europe, Spain, Russia, China, America, the West Indies, Ireland and back to Saddleworth.

Along the way we will meet a Bavarian Brass Band, see Russians dancing as you have never seen them before, enjoy the spectacular ritual of the Chinese Lions and a fiery display around a Spanish dragon.

We will pay tributes to the internationally renowned clown Oleg Poppof and to a famous Hollywood star of the silver screen, indulge in a little bit of Irish dancing and be back in Saddleworth for a surprise Festival display.

The evening will start at 7.30 pm. with a sparkling reception.

Bring your hampers and enjoy a picnic in the grounds of Hollyville then sit back and enjoy this Son et Lumiere spectacular of the world (under cover).
